| Comments and limitations |
Breakdowns by sex come from a different data source relative to the overall total and breakdowns by age group, and the two sources use different methods; therefore these figures cannot be directly compared. From 2022 onwards, the estimate for the 50 and above age group is <0.1; due to format constraints, it is expressed as 0.1 here. The global metadata specifies breakdowns by sex, age categories, and key populations; due to data availability, only sex and age breakdowns are included here. However, breakdowns of some other relevant measures by key populations are available in the UNAIDS AIDSinfo Data Sheet. |
