Indicator description |
Modern methods include female sterilization, male sterilization, pill, IUD, injectables, implants, male condom, female condom, standard days method, and lactational amenorrhea method (LAM). Women using contraception are considered to have a met need. Women using contraception who say they want no (more) children are considered to have a met need for limiting, and women who are using contraception and say they want to delay having a child or are unsure if or when they want a (another) child, are considered to have a met need for spacing. |
