From 2000 to 2021, the official school-ages for each level were 12 years for the final year of primary education; 15 years for the final year of lower secondary education; and 18 years for the final year of upper secondary education. In the academic year 2021/2022, the reference years changed, decreasing to 11 years for the final year of primary education; from 14 years for the final year of lower secondary education; and 17 years for the final year of upper secondary education. |
